Who knew farming was so much like real estate. Growing up on a farm taught me so much about being a Realtor. I am thankful for the examples and encouragement of my Dad to continue forward. Planting seeds, watering them, and then waiting for the harvest.

God knows and he is using this wait time for your heart to take courage, which is defined as “strength in the face of pain or grief.” I believe the courage David is speaking of in Psalm 27 is that of courage to hold fast to the Lord, his promises, his will and his plans as he is faced with pain and grief.

It is about seeking the Lord with your whole heart, mind and soul. Loving one another as Christ has loved us. Being led by the Spirit in all relationships. Finding someone who will fill your cup, cheer you on, love you the way Christ does, makes real mistakes, chooses to walk through life's ups and downs with you and is willing to keep moving forward.

Sharing from my heart the realness in seeking the Lord for more self-control. The desire to gain more and meditate on his word in Galatians 5 about the seriousness of walking in the Spirit versus by our flesh. Boundaries in dating used to strengthen us for marriage. Day to day tasks, food choices and late night scrolling. Ideas and tips on how to combat the temptations, but ultimately guidance and praying through scriptures that point us to Jesus.

Can it be that the Lord moves in our lives so that we draw closer to him? Shall we be thankful for and ask him to move mountains in our lives? YES! Moving of any kind is challenging. With faith, dependence on the Lord and walking by the Spirit, God will move mountains in your life. Trust him.

WAIT on the Lord. Trust in his timing, his plan. Listen to his voice, trust his word and his truth. My personal story of how I am learning.
